A Human Who Listens
Sometimes you don't need a therapist. You don't need a coach. You don't need advice. You just need someone to be there — fully, honestly, without an agenda.
This is that. A space where you can talk, be silent, think out loud, or just sit with someone who isn't trying to fix you — because you're not broken.
The hypothesis
If you give people access to genuine human presence — without the framework of therapy, coaching, or advice — something shifts that no professional service can replicate.
How it works
A conversation
45 minutes. Voice, video, or walk & talk — whatever feels right. No worksheets. No goals. No homework. Just two humans in a room (or on a call), being honest.
What happens
You talk. Or you don't. You think out loud. You sit with something. You say the thing you haven't said to anyone. Or you just breathe and let someone hold space for you.
What doesn't happen
No diagnosis. No treatment plan. No advice unless you ask for it. No judgment. No notes being taken behind a clipboard. This is not therapy — it's a human experiment in presence.
Who this is for
People who are carrying something and don't know where to put it. People who are exhausted but don't need clinical support. People who just want to be seen by another human — without having to perform, explain, or justify.
Maybe you're in a transition. Maybe you're grieving something unnamed. Maybe you're fine but lonely. Maybe you just want to talk to someone who actually listens.
What it costs
Sessions run on a sliding scale — pay what feels right. Suggested: €40–80 per session. If you can't afford it, there are free spots every week. No questions asked.
Sessions are separate from lab membership. Your membership supports the lab. The session fee supports the human who shows up for you — the structure that makes it possible to be fully present, consistently.
Why this is an experiment
Right now, the lab's founder Kevin is the listener. He's running this format first — to find out if it works, how it works, and what it actually does for people.
But the deeper question is bigger than one person: Is conscious human presence — without the layers of professional frameworks — something people genuinely value? Is showing up and truly listening a service in itself? And if it is: could others offer this too? Could this become a practice anyone can learn?
We don't know yet. That's why it's in the lab.
An important note
This is not therapy. This is not a substitute for professional mental health care. If you're in crisis, please reach out to a professional or crisis service. Your listener is not a licensed therapist or counselor — they are a fellow human who believes that being heard is one of the most powerful things we can offer each other.
If this sounds like something you need right now — or even if you're not sure — reach out. No pressure. No commitment.
